I will remember you

HaWiFi and I had been headcannoning the friendship that Jack and Penelope share right before I was punched in the face with a fistful of feels. 

Jack is a seemingly broken character who acts far younger than what he truly is, due to response from anxiety or some kind of trauma. He feels he cannot be himself around anyone for reasons unknown. Penelope being the motherly caring person she is would have the patience to help him and through the friendship they have, would break him of his asexuality to feel something for her. She would have been his first crush. 

Unfortunately Jack would be whisked away for 100 years to undergo the intense training as the Rider of War to become the Horseman as he is merely just an apprentice at this time. He would be sculpted and carved from stone but he would never lose the gentleness he has inside. He would always be Jack but just matured after 100 years. 

Jack will never grow old and he will never die but Penelope is not the same. He would return to find his dearest friend having been greatly affected by time. Her body frail and old, her joints stiffened and her skin yellowed. She would pass soon but she held on to life for his return so she may see her old friend one last time. It is then that Jack would tell her how he felt and the feelings he had for her that transcended his previous limitations. He felt "love" for her stronger than any he had felt. He had romantic feelings for her, despite her not knowing it. As a response, she would tell him that it was too late for her and he needed to find someone who would give him the love he was denied for so long. Her last request was that he would remember her so that even though her body may die, she will live with him forever inside his heart through a memory.

Cant even begin to say how much I've cried over this. Eureka why you kill me.
